Peppa Pig
This animated show for preschoolers features anthropomorphic animals, specifically female piglet Peppa, her family, and friends. These animals go about everyday life, with activities such as shopping, driving cars, and attending playgroup, as if they were human; however, their animal characteristics are incorporated through the characters’ conversational styles and likes and dislikes. A narrator is also present to reinforce the events happening, with commentary such as “Oh, dear” or “Look out!”
